Hannah Garrigan, MD

Dr. Hannah Garrigan, a native of Oak Park, IL, distinguished herself early by graduating in the top 1% of her class and leading the varsity swim team as captain for two years at Oak Park River Forest High School. Following graduation, she enrolled at Boston College, where she played water polo and pursued a degree in biology, graduating cum laude.

Dr. Garrigan earned her medical degree (MD) and Master of Public Health (MPH) from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. During her public health training, she conducted research at LV Prasad Eye Institute, an internationally recognized eye hospital in India. She was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Delta Omega Public Health Honor Society, reserved for only the top medical and public health students across the United States.

Hannah continued her medical journey at the esteemed Wills Eye Hospital, one of the best ophthalmology residency programs in the world. She continues to leverage surgical techniques and knowledge from leaders in the field of ophthalmology who trained her. As the first doctor in her family, she brings pride and dedication to her medical career.

In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, Peloton workouts, traveling, and trying new foods.
